01Who we are
CodePay Inc. (“CodePay”, “we”, “us”) provides payment terminals, software and cloud services to independent sales organizations (ISOs), payment facilitators, software vendors (ISVs) and the merchants they serve. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you visit codepay.us, contact us, or use our partner portal (together, the “Site”).
This policy does not cover payment transaction data processed through CodePay products on behalf of our partners and their merchants. That data is handled under our written agreements with those partners, and CodePay processes it as a service provider on their instructions.
02Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a demo, apply to become a partner or contact us, we collect details such as your name, company, job role, email address, phone number and the content of your message. If you have a partner portal account, we collect your login details and account settings.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site we collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through server logs, cookies and similar technologies.
Information from others. We may receive business contact information from our partners, event organizers or publicly available sources.
03How we use information
We use personal information to respond to your requests and provide demos; set up and manage partner relationships and accounts; operate, secure and improve the Site; send you service and, where permitted, marketing communications; connect merchants with a CodePay provider when they ask us to; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
04How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows: with service providers who host the Site, run analytics, send email or otherwise support our business, under contracts that limit their use of the data; with CodePay partners when you ask us to connect you with one; with professional advisers; when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of CodePay, our users or others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
05Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the Site to work, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
06Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to maintain a business relationship, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
07Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.
